As well as the treatments that I provide, one of the other things that I am most proud of with the service that we offer is Treatment Coordination. Amba’s time is completely complimentary.
There is no fee attached whether she spends 5 minutes with a patient explaining a procedure or even sometimes in different stages she can spend up to 4 or 5 hours helping a patient make the right decision in choosing the right service that satisfies their needs and their desires.

Best Patient Care
The team at HDC, consider ‘best patient care’ to be a journey our patients take with us – one where we understand them, their needs, desires and dental health requirements. We are meticulous about the dentistry we provide and the way we deliver it.
Following initial contact, a welcome letter is emailed to introduce the practice & our services. Our Treatment Co-ordinator then gets to know the patient before checking their medical and dental history, ensuring any dental decisions are made in the patient’s best interest. After a comprehensive examination, record taking and periodontal assessment, using Florida Probe, treatment options are discussed between our dentist, treatment co-ordinator and dental therapist – we find a team approach to treatment planning maintains best patient care. The treatment plan options are presented and discussed with the patient in person at a second appointment and confirmed in writing. This method of presentation provides patients with bespoke and individually tailored treatment plans, allows us more time to discuss the many options of treatment modalities, flexible finance plans and spa facilities we provide, but most importantly, involves our patients making informed choices about their dentistry.
The team believe their continued education not only benefits themselves & the practice but the patients too. Dr Oulton and the team attend many courses, learning about occlusion & function, harmony & disharmony within the masticatory system, plus cosmetic dentistry, materials and latest techniques and subjects such as medical emergencies, cross infection, customer service.
To provide our patients with the best care possible we continue to invest in the latest technologies, improving the quality of dentistry we offer. Examples include magnification for dental procedures; Florida Probe, soft tissue lasers, intra oral cameras and digital photography, Diagnodent laser caries system, digital x-rays, PAD for endodontic treatment, T-Scan and JVA for bite and jaw analysis, The Wand and Casey. Plus we are currently the only Grindcare centre in the UK providing bio-feedback technology for night time parafunction.
Patient comfort is extremely important to us. We have a stunning practice, decorated to make our patients feel welcome and relaxed. We offer fresh coffee, refreshments, snacks and fresh fruit.
We recognise that we are not ‘jack of all trades’ and in order to provide our patients with the best care possible we have carefully selected visiting specialists to provide those areas of dentistry we feel are beyond our capabilities (orthodontics and implantology) We also have a local specialist endodontic practice that we refer some treatments too.
We use the best award winning labs not only here but in the USA and insist on the highest quality materials for all aspects of our dental treatment.
